    Beach House of Stress Relief is sure to provide the perfect getaway. This fabulous home has 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths, and can accommodate up to 16 guests comfortably. Located steps from the beach, you can't beat the convenience and amenities of this lovely home including beach access just 2 blocks away at Shirah Street. Four king beds are in this home including two master suites. This pet friendly stunner boasts spacious bedrooms and common areas, three kitchens, stunning wraparound porch, fenced-in backyard with private pool, outdoor shower, and natural gas grill. With over 2,500 square feet of living space and an additional 1,900 square feet of porch space, your whole group will have plenty of room to sprawl out and enjoy the lazy days in luxury at the Beach House of Stress Relief.

    The living area on the main floor has brand new La-Z-Boy furniture. The downstairs bedroom is perfect for those guests who are unable to climb stairs. Most bedrooms have access to the wraparound porches and there are interior and exterior stairs providing access to the second and third level without going through the first floor. The exterior stairs are recommended for loading and offloading suitcases. There is plenty of off-street parking, which can be difficult to find at the beach.  Five cars can fit into the driveway, and two large or three small vehicles can fit along courtyard on the east side of the house.

    Crystal Beach is a terrific residential area, yet close to restaurants and activities in Destin. Convenient to restaurants such as the award-winning 790 Inn on the Gulf, or Sarah K's Gourmet, get your fro-yo on at U-Twirl Frozen Yogurt or learn how to ride the waves at All-A Board Surf School.

    Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

    If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017.  Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We loved the location, 2 blocks from the beach. House was very accommodating and clean. Pool was nice and warm too. The rental management was very friendly and helpful, easy to keep in touch with.

Perfect Location

Just minutes from the beach and so many places to eat, this makes it a great location. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely come back.

The hotel delivery across the street at anytime between 4:30-6:00am is horrible! The peeping of the trucks backing in was awful!! The floors could have been a little cleaner. Had to buy a mop! Needed one for my length of stay! I got used to the peeping a little bit! Location excellent! Would have stayed again but was told I don’t get preference for next year even though I was staying there! Never heard that before! Called multiple realtor around and they said they never heard that either! Will be back for sure to Destin but now I had to reserve another property for next year! Done and happy!

Family vacation

The property was great for our large family gathering. I let them know the toaster wasn't working and they sent someone over with a brand new one! Totally unexpected! Great communication. Would definitely stay againOne thing; there is only one pull out couch in the living room ( listing says 2). Not a problem for us but wanted to mention for future renters

Not as Expected

The house was spacious but LR furniture is dirty and should be replaced and floors were very dirty needed mopping, paint needs touch up doors very dirty, while unloading my car a snake came from hedges and crossed in front of porch, landscaping and yard needs to be cleaned up, pool area not very clean either and pool is smaller than it appears in the pics. Location is great but not much allotted room at beach. Very high price for condition of property. Will not return or recommend.

My large family had a great stay at this beach house. We would definitely consider booking here again. It’s about a 6-8 minute walk to the beach. They had lots of umbrellas and chairs to use at the beach. Multiple kitchens and fridges in the house. Close to grocery store. Having a pool was a great way wear out the kids.

Good overall

Like some of the other reviews this house was in need of a deep cleaning and updating. When we arrived we had an issue with the cable box in the living room not working. We contacted Real Joy and they sent a repair man out right away. The cable box was bad and ended up being replaced. After that issue was resolved the AC condenser started leaking through the ceiling in the laundry room. We again contacted Real Joy and they sent a repair man out right away. The repair man thought he had fixed the problem but on our last day it started leaking again. The size of the house was good for several families and the pool was nice! Overall it is a decent house.

We did a guys trip

It was a guys trip but we all agreed this could be great for our families and will most likely be back with them. Layout is great the multiple living spaces, kitchens, bathrooms were perfect. The kitchen area off the pool was the icing.

My personal comments

Management was nice. But cleanliness of property was just not up to standard. We actually inquired about a refund and checking out early due to the fact. But that was refused of course. Probably wont rent from this company in the future.

Would not recommend to anyone! House filthy and run down because of neglect!

When we arrived we called and asked that the pool heater be turned on, we were told that it would be the next day. It was not turned on for 2 additional days and only after 2 more phone calls although they charged my card immediately. I was informed that my card would be refunded which has yet to happen. The second person that I spoke to was confrontational and extremely rude! The floors in the house were filthy, the children weren't allowed to be in the house BAREFOOT BECAUSE WITHIN HOURS OF ARRIVING THEIR FEET WERE BLACK! The drain in the downstairs bedroom bathroom would not drain properly. Other bathroom showers didn't drain properly. The dining room table was absolutely disgusting with all of the filth in the cracks, ( I have pictures). The swing by the pool is rotting and unsafe to use. The pool deck where the concrete meets wood is so uneven that several times someone tripped and almost fell because of it. The pool has a large break by one of the sets of stairs that could easily cause serious injury if someone fell and hit it while falling. Multiple deck boards are loose causing trip hazards. The deck railing is loose and rotting in several places. The pool area is in serious need of cleanup (trash and weeds). The outside shower area is covered in mold and mildew. We had to wash dishes before we used them because of filth (which we would have washed anyway but should not have had to scrub old food off of them). One of the Stair boards in the house has a large chip out of it which could easily cause injury if someone would step on it in the wrong way. The concrete tables are so unstable (rocking back and forth) that they are dangerous to use. Door locks are loose and unsafe. The back door (pool door) needs adjusted so it will shut properly.

Cute house, great location - needs a more thorough cleaning!

The house was cute and perfect for our group. But it definitely needed a deep clean. The pool was DISGUSTING we spent an hour when we got there cleaning up trash, cigarette butts, rib bones etc. Also one room was misleading as we didn’t realize it was not connected to the main house - not a big deal but something to note. Also we were told weeks prior to check in we could possibly check in early but the day of we were told That was never a possibility. Would have been much easier if we could have stored luggage at the house while we waited to Check in. Overall it was a great stay, the house just definitely needed better cleaning. Big issue was sand in the beds!

Summer Vacay

The house was not too far from the beach. The beach spot was very crowded. We ended up going to Henderson State Park. The house could really use a deep, deep cleaning. We had plenty of room for the 15 people we had joining us. We will definitely be back.

Family vacation in Destin

We enjoyed our stay however there was some issues with this property. Primarily some Cleanliness, & maintenance problems. Dishes were dirty in cabinets and things like fan above stove and my daughters bed the first night had hair and sand in it. She had to do laundry before going to bed and this was not discovered until bedtime. Property management was quick to address the maintenance issues and repair the ceiling fan and door handles on the shower which were about to fall out. One blade on the fan in living room did fall off thankfully no one was hurt. Property sits across from a clubhouse/restaurant and there are quite a few deliveries throughout the day. Makes it a little hard to relax and enjoy the pool. We the the best of everything and love the Destin area. We will be back but will look for a house in a quiet area a few streets over.

Beach house

We thoroughly enjoyed this house and the beach!! The only thing that caught us off guard was that the pool is smaller than the pictures made it look (still room to swim!) and the upstairs studio bedroom and other king size bedroom are conjoined with one bathroom in the studio. The walk to the beach was super easy, we only wish that you had more room on the beach. Most of the shirah access is private so you only have 20 ft for everyone else. But we loved the house and the area and will be back!!

Vacation stay

Due to the pandemic this was our 1st vacation and get away together. Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Years were rough so this was well deserved. Our family enjoyed this home we highly recommend especially for a big group. The beds were super comfy. It definitely had the space for such a large group. The only issues I had were that one of the bedrooms on the 3rd floor did not have a restroom and it was a little tricky having to use the restroom on the first floor especially with little kids Who were still being potty trained. The floorplan on the third floor was a little tricky one of the bedrooms had a little kitchen and restroom almost like a little hotel room. And the only thing else was that the lighting in the pool was not working which was something minor as there is plenty of other lighting. I was quite surprised that other reviews stated that the walk to the beach was deceiving. Our family didn’t have any issues with it, it was very close and enjoyed the 3-5 min walk. I would recommend other families not to worry to buy any charcoal or propane tanks as the grill already has built-in gas usage. We had a great time.

Great spacious house waking distance to the beach!

We loved everything about our stay at this beach house. Waking distance to the beach was amazing. The outdoor pool area was a nice space to hang out. Lots of sleeping areas.

The cost of a down payment for a house, wanted it perfect!

No rail for my parents to hold onto to get up and down the stairs to the pool. Dirty clothes in my bedroom closet when i got there, dirty underwear under my bed. The close Beach access is the size of my livingroom, we never found a spot to set. Drove to access at the Crab Trap. Multiple trips had to be made because we had to be dropped off never any parking spots available. The noise setting by the pool sounded like we were in NYC. Semi trucks in and out of the resort across the street were non stop! I stopped counting 12 in one day. Many will honk their horn when the back up so someone will open the garage door so they can back up. And as soon as they put the trucks in reverse the beeps drove us crazy. Leaf blowers and trucks woke us every morning. Pool deck had not been washed under the tables for months. I had to spray the first day so our feet would not leave dirt on the pool deck. Broken glass found in pool area. My 3 year old neice found the first peice in her foot so i crawled around to pick up the rest of the peices. White lounge chairs so brittle from the sun. My 17yr old had one break on her while laying out. Thank god it did not cut or pinch her leg when it happened. Some plugs and TV did not work on the 3rd floor. No pillowcases for the extra pillows in the closet. Dryer was slow to dry. Everytime we left the house we would have to wail several minutes because the traffic is so bad on Matthew Blvd. Pool was not warm when we got there we were told the pool guy forgot to start it wven after i called 48 hrs. To remind property contact number. heated pool is a lot of money and then to loose that much time with no heat was disapointing. Pool guy stopped to check pool (we could tell becase the hose was out) when he left the pool was still cloudy. And water level was so low the heater turned off. So we put water in the pool and it came on. So we had to wait again for it to heat up. Pool heat shuts off at 8p.m. so by morning it was down 10deg. So no morning swim for us. I will never stay at theis property again!

This house had roaches and was NOT a short 14 step or 2 block walk to a public beach.

Never staying with this company again. Roaches in the house, electrical outlets didn’t work, broken windows, doors would just pop open to the outside, broken glass around the pool area. It was not a short walk to the beach as advertised. We had to go a mile down the road to the state park for beach access because other beach areas were for guests of other propertities. We had 12 people with us and took until the 3rd day to find the 6th bedroom that has a separate code. Talked with the property manager and their answer was Florida is known for roaches! They were not helpful AT ALL!!!!
