"Room carpet was dirty. Bathroom smelled like pee and it looked gross, too, plus door knobs were degraded. There was no DND sign for the door. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and awful for people with dietary restrictions. They made me scrambled eggs without milk as requested, but it was inedible due to being undercooked. Who likes stringy (like snot) egg whites in scrambled eggs? Emailed for support, didn't reply. Tried talking to them, they didn't care."

"Vanessa and Steve were exceptional hosts and the facilities at “The Foxes Den” suited us perfectly. Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! We would recommend a stay there to everyone visiting the area for a peaceful and very comfortable night."

"Hotel ideally situated just off the A12. But there is no road noise that disturbed our sleep. Room was nice and clean well stocked with tea and coffee, soap, shampoo, hairdryer and iron. Breakfast was very good and kept us topped up for most of the day. Although we didn't eat in the hotel, the menu had enough variety and was decently priced. Bar had a decent selection of alcoholic beverages, and not too badly priced. My only complaint would be that the towels in our room were a bit...

Grounds were really nice to walk around, breakfast was nice and having the additional cooked to order elements was great. Room was lovely. Minor feedback would be that the pillows were not great, but all in it was a really lovely hotel."

"Spa and pool were excellent used both . No air conditioning in our Deluxe room and the Dyson fan just didn’t help much at all . Shame really . Breakfast was good one day and not quite so good the next day ( different chefs they said ) . All staff at the 3 properties were really helpful especially the chauffeuse ."

"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. "We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again!"

"Relaxed dining in the bar, plus option to eat in the more formal dining room. Good outside table area. Great relaxing lounge with comfortable chairs and attentive staff. This an older character building with some very interesting features, but is reasonably well maintained. Have now stayed here four times and will definitely be returning."
