"I needed time off to decompress, and The Wren House offered the perfect antidote. My partner and I canoed. We chatted with the chipmunks. We scoured our bird book for the names of the variety of bird species who visited. We played games, napped and enjoyed cocktails. We even got to enjoy a great rainstorm (from inside, of course).It was perfect."

"We stayed here for an out of town wedding for my son. We could have used another day to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. Really nice home to relax for a few days. "

"Very satisfied with the accomodations. I am an accomplished bass fisherman. The fishing was disappointing (all catch & release). Of the twenty or so bass I caught, all but one was WELL under 1 lb. Bass pictures seem to be from a while ago. It is as if the DNR stocked the lake with bass fry last spring and now all are around 6" in length. This is not a reflection on your place, but a comment from someone who probably spent 30 hours fishing. We would definitely re-book if there was a decent...

"The area and lake was very peaceful, morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds. Afternoon kayaking and sunbathing on the deck and nights eating dinner on the deck with family or playing games. Kitchen and the living room open with a beautiful view of the lake. Matt has thought of everything you will need including the kayaks which was a great hit with the family. Looking for a quiet but yet close to stores this house is it. Hope to return in the years ahead "

"Beautiful lakehouse! Our stay was wonderful. Everything was very clean, comfortable and felt at home. The deck was so nice, grill was great and outdoor furniture was comfy! Hosts were excellent with communication and accomadating. Would recommend this place for a relaxing vacation! "

"Anne Marie was great and got us a new AC unit when the current one had problems. The unit is close to the lake and there is a boat slip reserved for the unit if you need one. The bungalow is great for two people, but you could have 3 comfortably as there is a trundle. Groceries are close by and try the Sand Bar for a great time. There are also other restaurants close by and a pavilion you can rent for larger groups. All in all great unit for our stay. Would stay again. "

"I enjoyed seeing all the well kept houses on the lake, and we visited the Kalamazoo institute of art, very interesting place!"

"The property was amazing! Very clean with great amenities. Right on the water with great access to private dock for fishing and soaking up the sun."

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the chalet. Everything was just as advertised and the home was very clean. There was a lot more space than we expected and it was well stocked with all the necessities, which is not very common with most rentals. The location was excellent. It feels like you’re in a remote area tucked away when you’re in the chalet, but it is a very short drive to anywhere you want to go. We had a toddler with us and all the toys were perfect for him.
