"The cabin is new with retro-style decor. As we entered, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. It was fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. It’s located in a nice spot. Aaron is knowledgeable, and he provided detailed information about the places to visit in Acadia. The personal touch makes a difference. They serve breakfast with homemade pastries—yum! "

"Amazing spot! Simple, quiet, with a sprinkle of local lobster boats humming by. Perfect weather highlighted the sky, the water and the sunsets. I put away the phone (unreliable internet) opened up a good book, visited the nearby sand beach for a cold plunge, and took in some local theater. This place is a gift for the soul. "

"It worked out great for a one night stay with 5 family members and a dog. The yurts were beautiful and very clean inside. The only downsides were the parking lot filled up and the shower temperature was either cold or very hot. "

"This cabin is perfect for a small family with a car. It’s in the middle of everything. It’s a basic house but has everything you need- nice hot shower, cooking utensils, camp fire, etc. I still dream of the naps we had on the sofa. The surroundings are peaceful with lots of deer strolling by. "

"Property was beautiful, very picturesque. The cabin had all the necessities and even a beautiful piano play. We brought our two dogs and there was plenty of room in the cozy cabin. "

"Very well appointed kitchen and bath. She provided a paper map (island internet connection is spotty) with island tips for getting around I didn’t find elsewhere. We followed her excellent advice. Very comfortable place. Loved our stay!"

"We (3 adults and a Dalmatian) rented the Cozy Cabin for 10 days. It was great. There was enough space for our stuff and for us to relax and sleep comfortably. The bed sleeps 2 and there’s an air mattress for the third person. The cabin itself is nice, and the view is beautiful too. My husband really enjoyed how close it is to water and it gave him and Bailey (dog) some nice walks. This isn’t a place for partying but it’s awesome for relaxing. "Tucked away off the road, in a great location on the "quiet side", away from the crowds of Bar Harbor. Easy access as a home base to explore Acadia and all the island has to offer. Had a great time visiting Maine on our family vacation!"

"What an amazing experience! I would recommend anyone doing this. The boat is just the right size for 2 people wanting to get away, relax and enjoy all that Maine has to offer! The Marina staff are wonderful as well! There are pots for lobsters, clams and even crabs that they let you use along with grills as well! Being from Maine, I can tell you this was an experience of a lifetime!"
