"The bay is directly in the backyard where you can see the sun set each evening from the house. There is a small beach that is sandy during low tide. If you want to wade in the bay, wear water shoes because there is glass that washes in from the bay. Mosquitoes are a problem, but it isn't just here. That's just the Eastern Shore in summer. If it is windy they aren't too bad if you use bug spray. But we didn't spend much time outside and didn't use the fire pit area, although it looked lovely.The...

"We love the Eastern Shore and being on the bay! This is our 5th year, and 5th house and this was by far our favorite!!! Bay views for days!!! From sun up to sun down there was something to see or do! Very clean! Vintage charm with modern upgrades! Awesome "gameroom/pool house" that we hung out in when it rain! The kids favorite was the pool! We will be returning!!! "

"John was an absolute legend of a host. Always available to answer questions or give suggestions! The house is beyond well equipped with anything you could want for your stay, it truly felt like a vacation with the level of amenity and to-do on site. The location of the house is perfect to explore various different areas and attractions along the eastern shore, if you ever want to leave the property that is! We’ll absolutely be renting again!"

"Our stay was amazing. The cabin was exactly as described. 9 family member stayed at the cabin comfortably. The view of the lake was breathtaking, the property was quiet and inviting with plenty of space for celebrating. We came to attend the Crab and Cruise experience which was a short drive from tge property. The surrounding city was quaint and friendly."

We have stayed at many rentals up and down the Eastern Shore as well as the Outer Banks and this was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in.
