"The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. "This a village pub with a series of rooms in a separate building at the back, the rooms are cosy, well appointed and have modern bathrooms I have stayed here a couple of times and will do so again "

"Our room was spotlessly clean- with very unique interior decor .The decor of the Hotel was lovely . Very calming the food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very professional .The barman made the best Martini pornstar cocktail I have ever been served.He was very knowledgable about the White Hart Hotel .The gardens were lovely to sit in ."

"Very comfortable room & bed. Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room. Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside."
