"Lovely clean modern apartment. Just what we needed for 1 night stay, 2 Adults and 3 Children, all slept comfortably. 2 double beds in one room and a pull out double bed in the lounge area. Only issue if you like to sleep in darkness, the bedroom goes dark well at night with the 2 double beds but the lounge area has a glass ceiling with no pull down blinds/curtains so in the summer, could be a issue. However, my 14yr slept well all night as she usually sleeps with a curtain/blind open. Very...

"Gem of a place! Gorgeous old building with high ceilings and plasterwork in the bar and breakfast rooms. Delicious cooked breakfast made to order. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great to have ample parking. Slept well as it was so quiet. Would definitely return if I wanted to visit the area again."

"We stayed in the family room.The mattress on the bunkbeds were a little uncomfortable, but the room was lovely. Very clean and bright, and we were supplied with fresh towels, bottles of water, biscuits and tea, coffee and hot chocolate everyay. There is a good selection of food served and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of things to do close by. I would recommended The Shakespear Inn."
