"Elk at falls creek was an amazing stay. The in house restaurant Sorella had amazing food and service was fast. The menu choice I felt was a bit limited, however of the choices , all was cooked exceptionally well and all were tasty. I liked that the property has a separate entrance to use after being out on the slopes as well as the area for taking off boots was plenty and close to my room. "We really enjoyed our stay at Homestead Riverbend.Great communication. Great location only 5 mins from Bright and less than 1 hour to Mt. Hotham.The house is very clean and spacious. Kids enjoyed the biking and collecting the chickens eggs and so much more. Definitely looking forward to come back. Thank you."

"We really enjoyed staying here. Once we got sorted with best way to get to tracks & back, which if frosty drop is closed is a bus ride into town, it was much better! Made the mistake of skiing back from big D with small children, which was a bit exhausting! Great facilities, with washing machine and dryer and the boot and drying room were perfection! Host was great, and we had a fab stay!"

"We had 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We had a lovely time. Most of the group was skiing but some stayed home to enjoy dinner plain walks and relaxing at the house. The place was well stocked, the linen and towels were clean with a lot of extra blankets if cold. We cooked every day and well stocked with kitchen utensils etc Very responsive with queries. "

"It was a lovely place, and the studio apartment was perfect for our needs, but the stairs to the second story apartment were difficult for our dog to manage. If you have a small dog that can be carried up and down the stairs, I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. If your dog needs to navigate the stairs by themselves, the coarse grating and steepness of the stairs will be extremely challenging. This problem, however, could be easily solved with a dog-friendly grate on...

"We stayed here for our ski trip and absolutely loved it. Just a scenic 30-minute drive to Mt Hotham, and the views along the way are stunning. The property itself is beautiful. Clean, cozy, and stocked with everything you need. There was plenty of firewood, so we enjoyed a fire every night. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, and we had the best time. Highly recommend!"
