I feel that a refund is in order. We called before we were to arrive and ask for a crib and were told they didn’t have cribs and offered no solution. We arrive on Thursday pm very late, they put us in a room directly across from a malfunctioning elevator that slammed shut every five minutes with no one on it. Kept us awake all night including our 1 year old. We asked to be moved to another room and ask for a bathtub while we ate breakfast in the lobby that had no air conditioning which was miserable. They moved us to a room with no bathtub again so we had to move our luggage for a third time - this room Had 2 double beds not a king. We left the hotel and when we came to change for dinner the elevators were out so we had to climb 5 flights of stairs carrying a toddler. Then when we came back from dinner they told us in the non air conditioned lobby the elevators would be out for a week. So we had to climb 5 flights of stairs again. Carrying pack and plays and luggage and a toddler down 5 flights again to leave. All of this was unacceptable to say the least. I feel a refund is in order and I will also be contacting Hyatt. Expedia should have been advised of the state of the hotel and contacted us to make other arrangements. Expedia itinerary 73280548708454. Booked 10/21. We were in Dallas to visit my 88 year old grandfather/great grandfather who is a resident of Presbyterian village North. I can be reached at 504-210-7492 for any further information.
