"This hotel is a bit far from the airport. However, if you want to just rest, like we did, and then head on in to Edinburgh, it’s fine. We just took the bus, which stops very close to hotel and then went into town then got on the train at Waverly. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Town is just down the hill , walkable if you want to have dinner out. But restaurant there is good and convenient."
"We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel that provided a nice bed and a hot shower. We were not interested in anything more than this. We accomplished that here and the food in the restaurant was very good. There were 7 of us. Everyone was pleased."
"The property was under a remodel and we were completely unaware. Some of the lights in the room did not work and the shower head leaked. There were holes in the floorboards and several floorboards felt like they would fall through. We had to walk around spots on the floorboards to avoid the sensation of possibly falling through. We stayed in 3 different premier hotels and this one was stand alone horrible. Thankfully we checked in late and left at dawn. Fan in the bathroom did not work either....
