"My wife and I stayed at this location, because we were taking a ride on an historic steam engine in Cumberland Maryland. The location was convenient within minutes of downtown Cumberland. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Just the perfect location for our one night stay. We would definitely stay again on our next trip."

"It is wonderful. Quiet, private, we did not see anyone during our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for a couples escape. The back deck and hot tub was perfect for after a hike on the C&O canal. There was a full kitchen and outdoor grill but we found lots of local restaurants in Cumberland instead. The communication with the host was really fast. They did everything to make our stay perfect. We are looking forward to another trip back!! Communication with the host...

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"

"It suited our purposes perfectly. We were riding the Western Maryland Railway dinner train and stayed at the house just overnight. The large deck is especially nice."

"This was perfect for our family’s ski weekend at Wisp with our teens. We loved the hot tub, fireplace, and close proximity to restaurants. We’ll come back again!"

"This is a great spot with a cool design aesthetic. It was just enough space for me, my husband and dog. So many places I’ve stayed have an abundance of “stuff” and things can be hard to find. The love shack had just enough of everything and it felt like an actual home. Place was super clean and the location is great. Communication was easy and straightforward"

"Mike was great to work with! We had an issue at the beginning of our stay and he went above and beyond to make it right. Beautiful home and great location. "

"We stayed in the 6A condo last year and this one was even better. Omly complaint is that a lot of the plugs were loose and we couldn’t plug anything into them except a select few."

"Suggest providing a hairdryer. Great location!! Provided privacy of guests. "

"Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings."
