"This place is OK—bed and pillows are comfortable, water pressure good. Lighting not great. Breakfast was OK. I would not recommend for more than a night or two, but if you’re on a road trip and just need shower & sleep before you hit the road again it’s fine."

"We had a good stay overall. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room does need some maintenance.but it wasn’t a major issue during our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, but it could use a few more options.We’d stay here again."

"I wasn't there much as I was participating in an event that took most of my days, but just waking up there in the mornings was incredible. Then when I returned in the evening more peacefulness. I did a little fishing, it was great"

"Camp was very nice, excellent view of the lake, also very quiet. Nadine was very helpful. If I get the to get to Portage again I will definitely check to see if Nadine s camp is available."
