"The caravan park is in a gorgeous position with unbeatable scenic views over the water and mountains and is tranquil and well run. The very old cottage we hired is adequate but showing its age quite badly. and could do with a refresh. Although it comes with kitchen provisions eg plates saucepans etc they are fairly sparse particularly since the cottage sleeps up to 7. Fridge is large however and quite new. "The room was really clean and modern. Great Smart TV with all the Apps like Netflix, YouTube etc Had a good little fridge and a microwave (I was surprised how many didn’t) . Really big shower with great pressure, so I felt washed ! Close to the Taree Service Centre as in 5 min drive. Beautiful rural setting, so quiet. This place was a real gem really close to the M1. I found myself another great motel between Sydney and Brisbane, well worth the stop."

I understand older style motels, but there's no excuse for the level of filth here, old can still be clean, and this absolutely wasn't. The room clearly hasn't had a proper clean in a long time. There was heavy build up of grime and dust around the base of the toilet, and the shower hadn't been cleaned at all, hair throughout the recess and visible grime in the grout.
