"The only real things I didn't like about the property was the floors upon check-in were dirty, not dusty. After my 1st shower while my feet were drying they turned black from walking around. Also some dirty dishes and mice poo in the cupboard. Beyond that this place was amazingly quiet and peaceful. Comfy as well. On the clear nights you had full view of the stars. Lots of trails in the area"

"Perfect mother/daughter get away. We relaxed by the creek, painted, drank, and ate. Sooooo relaxing. Th owner popped by and showed us his other property"

"This cottage made for a fun and easy family get-away recently. It's conveniently located - close to shops, restaurants, movie theater, and the public beach in Old Forge, as well as hiking trails within walking distance or a short drive. Also very close to McCauley Mountain for skiing and mountain biking. The cottage was super clean from top to bottom. Check-in/out was easy and the owners were easy to contact if/when needed."

"A lovely stay in Old Forge. The property was right on the main road and a very short drive to Enchanted Forrest. No issues with the home or instructions, everything was clearly communicated to us. The owner was very quick to respond and make sure we had all that we needed. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. "

"The house was very nice inside and out! I messaged the host twice the day before we were leaving to see about how to get in no response! The day we left I messaged her three times no response On how to get in the ! By now I’m panicking thinking somethings wrong! I called the number on VRBO and got a very nice lady And told her I hadn’t heard from my host and I don’t know how to get in the house and it was 4:15 Past check in time! So she gave me all the information I needed to get in and the...

"We are a family of four with two children, ages 6 and 9. We enjoyed our two nights at this cabin. The upstairs bedroom configuration was fun for the kids. A little bit of Netflix and PBS kids when it was particularly rainy over the weekend, as well as the suitcase-full of games the kids brought with us. We weren't able to hike Bald Mntn as planned because of the rain, but the home's location was well settled in low-traffic side streets that permitted us to get in a nice walk/hike when the rain...

"The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! From the moment I walked in my mouth was on the floor. The attention to detail is incredible at this place and has everything that anyone could want in a luxurious Adirondack cabin! The rooms were exceptional and very clean. The decorating was stunning! We loved the gas burning fireplace and heated plunge pool! The house was literally across the street from trail five and right next to the lake. Which made our trip Snowmobiling so easy and convenient....
