"Had a truly wonderful girls weekend at the TREE HOUSE!! Such a special place - comfy beds, beautiful lighting, artwork, cozy blankets galore. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Loved the baked goods upon arrival. We will definitely be back!!!"

"This cottage is very cozy, plenty of privacy. The grounds around were very nice, the location next to the river is very serene."

"Beautiful mountain view from the front porch! We saw lots of deer. The beds were comfortable! It has a really nice fireplace that was easy to turn on/off. We spent a day at Tweetsie Railroad for Heritage Weekend which was 30 miles away from the cabin. We traveled to Mt. Airy to visit the home place of Andy Griffith which was one and a half hours away. We didn't bring pets but it is pet friendly and would consider it for another stay."

"Cabin was very clean and well supplied with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay. We loved the stream behind the cabin and spent many hours exploring and just floating in the water. The location was near many of the activities we were looking for such as mountain climbing and river tubing. Our last night provided clear skies and we spent hours laying on a blanket and star gazing. We had a great week and really enjoyed our stay. "

"Everything we could need was provided for us! We loved sitting out on the back deck in the evenings and the screened in porch in the mornings! Beautiful and secluded neighborhood. We all wished we'd have had more time!! "

"OFF THE GRID. 1 mile driveway leads to your own personal mountain cottage right next to a beautiful creek with three waterfalls house is well appointed even some extra kitchen items that were super helpful during our stay. Driving back out to the grocery store is a solid 45 minutes thank you so much for the coffee filters, salt and pepper, extra seasonings, no dishwasher, except for yours truly, but all other kitchen appliances provided were amazing. "Happy Trees is a beautiful cabin and a great place to stay if you are looking to get away. We wentfor the 4th of July, and enjoys fireworks and parade in Boone. There was food delivery which was great after being out all day. I would definitely recommend this cabin to any family or even just a couple looking to log out."
