"The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins were closer together than I expected, but they’ve done a great job at still making it seem very private. The river was shallow, so the pups really enjoyed walking in it. Jerry was always very responsive, as was Chris who we met when we arrived. Overall a great stay!"

"Beautiful home full of charm and character. Easy, check-in. Comfortable temperature inside, despite the heat outside. SUPER comfortable bed (neither fluffy nor firm). The towels smell wonderful (just fresh, not perfumy) :)Quiet, lovely, neighborhood; just 1 block from downtown shops and restaurants etc- easily walkable. If you’re a coffee person, you may love that there’s a French press (in addition to the keurig and drip coffee maker). "

"Alicia’s cabin was the most magical and perfect getaway. Everything was as advertised and was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. I’m glad Alicia listed instructions on how to get to the property because it is easy to miss on the drive in. She was very responsive and helpful with all of the local recommendations. The creekside cabin is the perfect place to unwind & relax. "

"This cabin was exactly as advertised and very remote for lots of privacy. We saw a bear and lots of deer and enjoyed several activities near Lexington, Staunton and Verona. The host was excellent and the little extras such as snacks and flowers upon arrival were thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay very much and we hope to visit again."

"This is an incredible property, with wonderful hosts. Every detail is taken care of- and you can simply relax and reconnect. Highly recommend booking a stay. Monica was a wealth of helpful information, and made our stay easy and fun. The sauna, hot tub, perfectly stocked kitchen, fluffy robes, fire pit, grill, wild life and outdoor lounge area helped my husband decompress after thru hiking the AT. Thanks so much! "My 14 year old daughter and I stayed for 3 nights while she competed at a show at the Virgina Horse Center. It was lovely to have a peaceful and relaxing place to come back to after our long and exhausting days at the VHC. Communication with Audrey was great from the start. The property and views are gorgeous, especially each morning as we left at dawn for the show. The beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water, well equiped kitchen, and the washer and dryer were a godsend. Can't recommend...
