"I would have stayed a week if I could have! More time to enjoy more cups of tea on the deck with the sound of birdsong and the gently flowing river below. This place is idyllic. Feels like the most secluded, peaceful place, but 5 minutes drive from the nearest pub or bakery. The owners were helpfully responsive to my email enquiry before our stay, but left us alone to enjoy the experience when we were there. There was lots of rain around for our time there but this didn't dampen the charm of this beautiful location and the accommodation made for a really memorable off-grid time away - something that I recommend for everyone. "If you want a place that offers solitude, heavenly peace and great relaxation in harmony with nature, don't look any further. This is the ultimate place to relax, meditate and enjoy nature at its best. There are some wonderful walks nearby, however a word of caution, don't try to drive unless you have an AWD or 4WD as the roads are gravelly and full of ruts."

"Sure! Here's a shorter version of the review:---A Secret Place to Slow Down lives up to its name, quiet, cozy, and beautifully set in nature. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly relaxing. Close enough to Gloucester’s attractions but tucked away enough to truly unplug. The hosts were kind and attentive. A true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return!"

"Alan and Eva were so lovely and kind during the stay. They were very accommodating and helpful! My friend and I had an amazing time staying here, watching the sunsets and sitting by the campfire. Lovely place to unwind and have a weekend off in nature. We got to see the cows and the lovely views around the farm. The cosy off-grid cabin felt like a home away from home. A very memorable experience. Thank you again Alan and Eva, we’ll definitely be back! "

"The property is in a central location in the town of Dungog. Next to a supermarket which is handy. I did not realise the bathroom was outside of our accommodation and that there was no running water/sink in our room. It was also very musty and airless. There were no flyscreens to open windows without mosquitos and insects coming in. It was tricky to understand where to enter the property, however the owner helped with this.
