  • Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A quiet 3 acre property overlooking Mount Ida just minutes away from downtown Salmon Arm.
    The space
    Welcome to the Shuswap.
    Chappelle ridge overlooking Mount Ida.
    This brand new carriage house is pet friendly with 3 full acres to roam. Located 12 min from downtown Salmon Arm.
    Watch the sun go down over Mount IDA. A truly amazing view.
    We easily sleep up to six . Two on the queen size bed in the bedroom and four on the two double pullout couches in the main room. It’s equipped with everything you might need after you’ve enjoyed a day on the water or snow. You can do all these things within a few minutes drive.


    30 mins from Vernon.
    1 hour 15 from the Kelowna or Kamloops airports.

    One bedroom carriage house, sleeps 46, 1000 sq feet sitting above the garage.

    Other things to note
    The closest peaks for skiing and mountain biking are Silver Star, Sun Peaks, and Revelstoke.
    Farm markets in Salmon Arm every Saturday April- October.
    Wineries surround us as well as cideries and craft breweries. We are a 5 min drive to Larch Hills Winery. You can also hike or bike there.

    Nordic ski trails are open all year for hikes, cross country or snowshoeing. You will often see horses enjoying these same trails. Located a 12 min drive away.

    Canoe beach and Gardom Lake are a 15 min drive. Gardom lake is best known for watching many turtles and birds taking in the sun. You can get great photos from your canoe or paddle board.

What an amazing cottage with mountain views. We had the whole house to ourselves and found the kitchen well equipped. Jim, our house was friendly and gave us some ideas for places to visit. Would absolutely recommend this place. It was a gem

What a gem of a place overlooking the valley. Birds singing in the morning. This is by far the most peaceful place we’ve ever stayed with. The host is wonderful and easy going too. Highest recommendation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-nite stay at this 1-Bedroom private suite which is located a 10-min drive from downtown Salmon Arm downtown. It has a big deck with a stunning view overlooking the valley and is well-appointed with excellent linens, furnishings, decor and kitchen and bath supplies - plus some lovely touches. Jim is a responsive and gracious host and we would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at this property. The response to our questions ahead of time were very fast and accurate. The property is so peaceful and the view from the deck was amazing. The value for the cost was very high. We plan to stay here the next time we visit Salmon Arm.

This property overlooks a gorgeous green valley. Sadly it was very Smokey during my one night stay I could not get the full glory of the view. It’s close enough to the main center of town about 15 min drive max. Very well provided accommodations which would allow you to cook meals and enjoy relaxing on the deck. Very private. Wish I could have stayed longer to take advantage of it. Thank you to the hosts for thinking of all the extras. Perfect place to recharge after a day of activities or just enjoy being there for the rest!

Acrually due to work issues i was not able to stay. From the pictures this place is amazing. The communication with host during the most adverse issues due to my work was great and so glad we were able to communicate freely and chat about things with full understanding for both parties. 100% recommend a stay in this beautiful coach house.

A lovely light, spacious place that is well-equipped for comfort. After a long day on the road we were able to fix dinner and relax as if we'd been at home. We look forward to staying there again. Thanks to our host, Jim, for a very pleasant stay.
