This motel is in a genuine country setting, with sheep grazing in the next door paddock. With only 6 rooms it is cosy and offers self service breakfast and mini bar. It gives a very relaxing experience and is just 4 km from Cowra CBD. Although requiring some maintenance updates, it offers a charming stay.

Disappointing

Tired older style motel with what looked like some semi-permanent residents. These guests sat outside on the very small veranda smoking most of the afternoon and evening. Unfortunately a lot of the smoke drifted into our room. The motel is for sale and the owner was not present leaving the welcome to a friend who while pleasant was not as helpful as possible. Also the breakfast offering was extremely basic including margarine instead of butter so all in all a disappointment. No cooked breakfast was available.

The owner was more than helpful, even booking a dinner table for us that night. The room was fine and the motel was set in a pleasant rural setting. Would stay there again if in the area.

Picturesque and comfortable

Spacious room with nice dining area. Fridge is a bit full of products to buy, but we had a car fridge so it didn't worry us. Very nice quiet location and comfortable bed.

The whole place is tired and needs updating. The pool was dirty. The owner was not happy and not very friendly.

Lovely spotlessly clean spacious room overlooking the vineyards just 10 mins from town. Friendly owners welcomed us, showed us the room and suggested good places for dinner. Next day they suggested driving tours to take in the best sights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Vineyard Motel,

A pleasant and quiet place to stay just outside Cowra. Relaxing to sit on the verandah and have a wine and look out over the vineyard and watch the sheep and birds nearby. The Continental breakfast was good and the microwave welcome. Not having to wash up a big bonus. Good plunger coffee and biscuits.

Lives up to its name,overlooks vineyards and is ju

Good for the soul.Spacious room,comfortable beds,loved the French doors so we didn't get that closed in feeling you often get in motel accomadation. Owner was lovely which enhanced our stay. Highly recommend we felt so refreshed the next morning and sat on the verandah sipping coffee and watching the big white cockatoos!

Greeted by an enthusiastic lady. Lovely to sit on the verandah admiring the view over the vineyard. We had a VERY warm night as the underfloor heating was running all night - slept under only a sheet and with the overhead fan running while it was trying to snow outside! The decor was a bit tired tho everything was very clean. We has a good time.

My solo stay

The motel was lovely &-quiet. Beautiful room ,& views, .Bed was really comfortable. Underfloor heating &- ceiling fan.Free Wifi. Close to town, The owners were on holidays & the caretaker lived in town. I did not enjoy being there by myself at this property, & they need to put a security chain on the door. That would have made me feel better. If you like peace &-quiet, solitude this is it.:-) :-) :-) :-)

nice and secluded country motel

We stayed here after passing through cowra many years ago, lovely quiet and secluded motel off the main road, a short walk to the quarry restaurant but unfortunately due to some emergency the restaurant was not open the whole weekend, apart from that a pleasent stay. They do have a mini bar of the local wines, prices were the same as the tourism centre per bottle anyway, and if you run out they were happy to provide more, hardly any reason to leave the room!
