Cuevas de Clearwell

On the website, it says the kitchen remains open until 10PM, however we arrived at 9PM and were informed the kitchen closed at 8:30PM. We were not informed of this before hand and left our event purely to ensure we could have a meal here and not risk cutting it fine. We mentioned this to the receptionist who just said ‘I know’ they don’t have it on the website - it would be good to inform your guests of this in advance. We were also told to exit the pub garden area as they were closing early - again not informed of this closure beforehand. Upon arrival we were told there would be a £50 charge that would be returned upon check out - again not stated on the website, but money was returned fairly promptly. Breakfast was okay - quite a few options- it was a buffet style breakfast but did have cereals too. I most likely wouldn’t stay here again though purely due to the lack of information prior to our stay.
