"Our whanau stayed at the Verandah to attend our Kori’s 80th birthday. We had a large group staying so needed a big place. This property was awesome, it was big enough to easily accommodate us all comfortably, and we never felt as though we were tripping over each other. The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed to cook all our meals during our stay, so we weren’t having to eat out. Having young kids with us, we really appreciated all the toys and games that were available for...

"From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. "

"The bach was great. Very well equipped and great location for visiting family who live locally. Shame about the weather but i guess we'll give the owners a pass on that and lay the blame on the remnants of CycloneTam. The day we left was glorious!! Oh well..."

"What a fabulous beach with access along a dune walkway from the driveway - right opposite Whale/Moutohora Island. Lee-Anne’s studio was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. Perfect for our dog too with its small fenced garden. The photos don’t do it justice. "

"Really enjoyed our stay. House had everything we needed. Deck at front of house needs a waterblast very slimy n slippery when wet. Met a lovely lady who had dog same age as mine so went for early morning walks. Would be so awesome to stay there in summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Big house The birds were amazing."

"Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise."

"Love staying here. It’s luxurious, has everything we need to be happy and make our stay pleasurable! It’s about our 5th or 6th time staying here. The spa baths are an extra comfort for relaxation! Close to all amenities. So clean and staff are friendly and accomodating!"
