Roomy, great place for kids to walk and play in the yard. Feed the horses, Bill and Pepper like carrots or apples. If rainey the game room is large enough to play games and watch TV. The driveway is private so you can walk at your leisure or walk your pet. Great place to ride bikes. Access to Pigeon River, fish or hangout.
Local hiking at Cosby Park, Big Creek Ranger Station or just rock on the front porch. Newly added fire pit, just bring your firewood to enjoy.

This is our second year staying in their cabin. They always go above and beyond to make our vacation perfect this year they even put up a Christmas tree when I told them that our seven year old granddaughter wanted to know if we could put up a Christmas tree they put one up for her and she was so excited when she got there to see it. They also have two horses on the property and she made sure she fed them their carrots every morning. We will definitely stay with them again.

OUTSTANDING Family Gathering Location

The property is absolutely amazing! We felt right at home. We enjoyed the space to spread out or gather together. We came during Christmas, and the house had a tree and mantle decor. We enjoyed feeding the horses during our first few days. The kiddos thought this was a huge perk.

Breathtaking

This property has all the country feel. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The house is older but well taken care of. Its spacious and very cozy. We had 14 people in our family to stay and we were all comfortable. Horses were a big bonus! This is a beautiful home.

Very clean and enjoyable stay

We had a family group of 13 people.There was plenty of room to sleep as long as the kids slept on the sleeper sofas. The rental was clean and the beds were comfortable.The owners were very willing to help and made sure we were taking care of.

The break we all needed

House was perfect for the accomodations we needed. Very convenient to everything. Hosts were amazing folks. Very accommodating and open to all suggestions. Will definitely book another one of their properties just because of how awesome they are to deal with.

Pictures are deceiving

We were told we could check in at 12 noon, then the night before it changed to 2 pm due to the cleaning crew which was fine. At 1:44 pm i nessaged the owner and ask for the code to get in and it was 2:47 when he finally messaged back. Every full bathroom in the house and the cottage had stairs, every bedroom had steps or stairs except the cottage. The listing should have stated that thus house is not accessible for handicap people. My elderely parents that use walkers had a very difficult time getting into the bathrooms, the toilets were very low and no handicap bars at all in the bathrooms or the showers. My parents had to stay at the cottage instead of the house with their family and they were afraid to shower without the stability of bars. We found dead bugs in kitchen drawers, silverwear that had to be rewashed and the locks on the doors were very difficult to turn. The home once had an inground pool but has been covered with plywood which seemed unsafe. Only 2 tvs in the house and their was really not a family room. The furniture was in the basement bedroom which made it difficult to have family time. All in all i would say the owner needs to be more specific with his description of the home and possibly upgrade alot of the house.

Great place!

We were in town for our daughters wedding. Plenty of room for our extended family. We had the cottage and the house and it was nice and Peaceful. Away from the hustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but close enough to visit. Beautiful views. The horses were sweet.

Mountain Serenity

Our family vacay in the Ford’s VRBO nestled between fields in the mountains was amazing. The kids enjoyed the freedom outside, the animals and the provided game room. Mr Ford was an amazing host and even came by to check on us after a family member had a medical emergency. I appreciate his help tremendously. This is a great location to book if rest and relaxation is what you need!

It was ok but we was told we could check in at 3:00pm. We got to the house and was told we needed to go somewhere for an hour or two so they could clean it up. We had two babies that under the age of one that was just ready to get out of the car and now had to ride for two more hours.

Great place!

We enjoyed being close to attractions but able to get away and enjoy a peaceful place. The view is amazing, the house is nice with lots of room, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! Kids loved the horses! Would highly recommend and will stay here again when in the area!

Beautiful, peaceful home

My family really enjoyed their stay in the main house. It was spacious and had everything they needed. My husband and I also enjoyed our stay in the cottage, also well stocked and clean. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs. They loved being able to explore the big yard. We all loved the horses, too. My only suggestion would be to include the code to the cottage with check in instructions if the cottage is also being rented, or maybe leave cottage check in instructions in the main house. I did not have this ahead of time and had to wait to hear back from the owner.

Beautiful venue. Great host.

Greeted by horses. Amazing view of the mountains. Easy to find. Comfortable beds. Huge game room. We were delighted. We rented the cabin also and it is great. Nephew brought a camper trailer and our host parked him in a covered shed near the barn. You will love this place.

Amazing Stay!

Absolutely gorgeous property! This vacation rental home is beautiful. It was perfect for our family members and friends. We loved having 2 dining room tables. This home has absolutely everything you need plus more. Daniel and Teresa were phenomenal hosts. We were able to feed the beautiful horse on the property! If you have a chance, I highly recommend the garden tub upstairs. This home has plenty of space, sleeping areas and bathrooms. I highly recommend this property if you have a big crowd. Thank you for allowing us in your beautiful home. Happy New Year.
