The Lakehouse is a spacious, well-furnished 5 bedroom home with spectacular sweeping views of Wallis Lake from multiple bedrooms, kitchen, and lounge room.
The house comfortably sleeps 6-12 people and is ideally suited to accommodate 1-3 families. The common area comprises a large open-plan living space including kitchen and dining areas - opening onto an enormous veranda and additional undercover outdoor dining deck. The lounge room with TV has a kids play corner stocked with board games and plenty of books, all with lake views, also opening onto the veranda. Witness wildlife animals at your backyard (kangaroos, deers, swans, pelicans, rabbits and kookaburras).

Sleep soundly in supplied bed sheets + Sheridan bath and face towels to relax after a long day.

Cook up a storm with a Weber Spirit 2 BBQ and have a good time either indoors or outdoors.

Enjoy our games room with a pool table + a 75 inch smart tv for the kids or adults to enjoy.

Being a waterfront lake house it is cool during the summer times with the lake breeze coming in, while in winter it is my absolute favourite, enjoying the beautiful outdoor views without the mozzies and warm up to a fire pit.

The house is situated on a northerly aspect, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunsets.

The air is fresh and revitalising.

The house runs solely on a rainwater tank, so please be water conscious when showering.

Bedroom 1: One Queen bedroom (with en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe + TV + Baby Bassinet)

We boast some of the best selection of beaches not only in Australia but probably worldwide. One Mile Beach, Forster was voted number five of The Guardian Australia’s Top 10 Best Australian Beaches in December 2013 . Hey, I agree its a top beach but equally as good, if not better is Elizabeth Beach, Shelley Beach, Blueys Beach, Boomerang beach, Cellito, Number One Beach (Seal Rocks) list goes on.
So depending on the conditions of wind, swell and state of mind, you can get to one of the best beaches in Australia in no time at all to enjoy swimming, surfing, fishing, diving, snorkelling or just to soak up some sun, sand is close to town but you will need a car.

Due to complaints from neighbours please keep noise level to a minimum when outside the house even though the property is on 5 acres of land, we still have neighbors and sound can travel quite far since it is so quite around there.

*Please note - Any damages to the house during your stay will incur cleaning or replacement fees (here are some examples of the fees)*

- Stained carpet or couch - $300 - 500
- Excessive amount of rubbish left behind for cleaners to clear - $200

If you’re wanting to stay just outside the heart of foster this is a fabulous place especially for boat enthusiasts. The house is very large to accommodate families or group of friends. The layout is spacious well thought out and child friendly. The property manager is a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Another wonderful stay at the Lakehouse - the new deck looks great, love the new single beds in the share room, and the couches switched around between lounge and games room worked really well too! Looking forward to being back in March!

Lovely area, and location, few improvements needed, found two crushed water bottles shoved down beside lounge, socks and a pair of women's undies under the bed, kids sock beside the games room lounge, the cleaners only cleaned around furniture and very dusty under beds and lounge. Coffee/Tea supplied but no sugar. The entry code did not work on the front door so we had to enter and exit via the garage entry door. The mattresses and pillows are very hard (except the main bedroom). Small water leak laundry floor. A little over the top with the amount of rules associated in staying at this property. They must have had many bad experiences.

This was my fourth weekend stay at the Lakehouse, and it is fast becoming a home away from home. The beds and linen are so comfortable, and so appreciated! And the open plan living area is just perfect for enjoying the view, I could sit back and look out over that lake all day!

We went with our 4 adult children and some of their partners 9 in total. The home is huge and we were all very comfortable in our rooms. The view from the balcony is amazing. We went fishing, kayaking and out on the boat and of an evening we sat around the fire pit and then inside for a game of pool. I cannot recommend The Lake House high enough and the communication with the host was great

We spent a week with family at The Lakehouse. Very comfortable, great amenities, awesome views. House is big enough for everyone to have their own space, so good that dining table is big enough for everyone to eat together. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and basic pantry items. Good Internet, access to streaming channels was a nice inclusion. Fire pit was a nice touch too. Contact with owner was excellent - definitely recommend The Lakehouse.

We stayed with 15 of us plus a dog for 2nights. Accomodation was tidy and huge space. All amenity was there so you can just bring yourself to stay there. Surrounded by nature and water we spent very nice time in there. House owner Alan was flexible and he done quick response anytime. Thank you Alan.

My friend’s family and my family enjoyed a unforgettable holiday at the Lakehouse. The property is roomy, clean, has plenty of facilities, and everything is thoughtfully appointed. On top of that Alan’s communication with us has been efficient and clear. I will definitely recommend my friends visit the Lakehouse.
