"The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. "Check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean, although it only had a small window there was a door to the courtyard we could open. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower was fine and there was a good beverage tray with biscuits. Breakfast was quite chaotic with food not being replenished and tables not being cleared and cleaned. However the cooked breakfast was tasty."

"All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! "We arrived about 3pm and were met by a cheerful lady who welcomed us and showed us our rooms. The rooms were clean and tidy and totally adequate for what we wanted and expected. All the amenities worked and it all smelt fresh. We got freshened up, had a walk around the village (Stunning views) then came back to eat at the hotel.
