"Get place to stay! We were able to check in early which was great. The place was clean and the bedroom were very spacious. It had direct access to the ATV trails for Oswego, Jefferson, & Lewis County. If we are ever in that side of the Hill we would definitely book again. Thanks!"

"Very beautiful and peaceful cabin! We loved our stay! The lake, the kayaks, fishing and theres also a little beach area which is great for kids and Adults!! Theres also different ways you can cook! "My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)"

"The Write up online was very accurate for this cute little cozy cabin. The heating was awesome with the fireplace and secondary forced air heating. The new shower was awesome! The only drawback was the plastic cover mattress. Overall, we had fun with our snowmobile trip."

"Absolutely beautiful place inside and out. We so enjoyed our stay. There was 8 of us and there was so much space for gatherings in the house, the kitchen is open with plenty of seating and open to the living room with even more space. Outside had a great patio for barbequing and of course a fire pit area with plenty of firewood to get busy making s’mores! "Perfect mountain cabin with all the amenities. Tastefully decorated. Very cute place for a romantic or escape vacation. Short walk to the lake front. Use of good kayaks and life vests. Panfish, bass, and pike in the lake. (I caught some). Backyard with a fire pit and torch lights. Other fire pit on your private water front. Property manager was very cool. Quiet and peaceful hideaway the way you want it. Few miles south of Old Forge. "
