"I had an amazing time at this cozy cabin! It was perfect for a weekend getaway. Thelma was an amazing host and so sweet. There is a nature preserve in Mineola about 20 mins away that is good for hiking/biking. I really enjoyed the hot tub and campfire area. I will definitely be returning! "

"Great place to stay. The master bedroom is incredible with the deep-soaking tub and the shower spoiled me. Great view from the front porch of the lake. We would get up early to see a sky full of stars and deer visiting the front lawn. We had a bbq for friends and family who came for our wedding, and made a small fire in the pit on the side patio. There’s plenty of room for multiple guests as well. The dock across the street was fun for the grandkids and just sitting to enjoy the quiet. Great...

"The host was very responsive to messages and questions. We were three couples and there were three excellent bedrooms and a bathroom with each. The common space was great for talking, eating, TV, and card games. There was a large fire pit with plenty of firewood and rockers to sit fireside. Stay here again? That’s an easy YES! "

"This was a great setup for a single or double occupant. I was by myself doing a scouting trip for an upcoming bass tournament. I've never stayed on this side of Lake Fork. However, everything I needed was right there. The launch ramp was about 100 yards away. I grilled my dinner for both nights on the grill. Was warm even though it was freezing outside. Everything was great. Thanks."

"The house was wonderful. We stayed for a guys golf weekend and were very surprised by all the small details the host incorporated into the house. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities, instructions were clean, everything was very clean, and little touches like small snacks to welcome us to the house and qtips in the bathrooms. "We stayed here for 5 nights and had an awesome time! Everything was clean and comfortable. Left our boats in the water by the dock during our stay. If you plan to do that bring about 300 ft of power cordThe host was very responsive and answered all our questions in a timely matter. Parking is tight if there are people staying in an RV under the cover but we managed. We always cook during our stays… would love to see more in the kitchen.
