From the cozy cottage to our amazing host Wanda, the whole experience left us wanting more.The cottage was perfect, the salty air along the shoreline made for the best mornings meditation, and the open layout plus all that natural sunlight made the space feel warm and welcoming all day long.There’s plenty to do nearby, from local spots to explore to great food that will definitely satisfy your taste buds....

"This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"The warning is right there in the description... you'll never want to leave! This was the first time we felt like we could have spent our whole vacation at the rental and been completely content. Spectacular views, beautifully designed and very well-appointed home, clean... just a flawless, relaxing stay. Thank you!"

"Anne was a lovely host and very communicative. The Cabin was clean and everything was very comfortable. Loved being able to have our Sr. dog with us and the morning sunrise/evening sunsets could not be beat! "

"The location is gorgeous with plenty of nearby walks, hikes, and interesting places to keep us busy. We saw deer, eagles and turkeys on the property. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It was quiet—at times we could hear the ocean from Pigeon Hill Bay just down the embankment across the road. Perfect in every way!"

"Loved the property. It was somewhat away from everything but we liked that and dealt with the extra driving. "

"We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. The text about local places, hikes and stores etc was So helpful and such a nice touch they add to this experience. We took morning walks around the area with the kids and...

"House is adorable and newly renovated, located in a quaint fishing village. Fun and quiet place to explore, away from the Bar Harbor hustle and bustle. Really enjoyed being here! Nice to have access to kitchen and laundry. The only improvement we could think of is the check-in process; instructions weren’t fully accurate and had to work with local host to troubleshoot. Quick responses though, so easy enough to navigate. Might be easier on the host to just update their check-in instructions for...

"We so appreciated the friendly, informative farm tour, as well as the option to purchase a farm breakfast, which was hearty and delicious. The animals were friendly. Truly a memorable experience."
