  • If you are looking to have the ultimate ocean view and all of the luxuries, Freycinet Coastal Retreat is a must.

    With absolute ocean frontage, you can’t get any closer to the water’s edge and having uninterrupted views of The Great Oyster Bay.

    The panoramic water views will take your breath away. Sit in comfort and be on the lookout for dolphins, whales, seals and bird life.

    This stunning brand new holiday house has specifically been designed with luxury and comfort in mind. The owners have created an amazing space for guests, you will not want to leave the property.

    There is a wide sweeping veranda that spans the length of the house with floor to ceiling doors that upon so, there are no boundaries with nature. Hearing the sound of the waves and the bird life will make you drift off to calm and soothing place. This is the perfect house to retreat to and just be at one with nature.

    The lounge area is open plan, with quality furnishings, there are electronic blinds at the press of a button and a large wall-mounted TV with Netflix.

    Curl up with a glass of local red wine on those cooler nights in winter in front of the fire. The fireplace can be used from May to September only.

    There is an outdoor dining area, to enjoy breakfast or lunch while taking in the view. This has the perfect outlook to sit on the deck at night and stargaze or see if you can be lucky enough to witness the southern Aurora.

    The kitchen is fully self contained with everything you need for dining in.

    There are 3 bedrooms, the main bedroom has uninterrupted ocean views and also opens up to the large sundeck. It has a second TV and an ensuite bathroom.

    The second bedroom has stunning ocean views and floor to ceiling windows that open onto a private deck area. This bedroom and the third bedroom have zip together king beds and can also be made into two single beds in each room.

    There are two bathrooms and a laundry.

    There is free wifi provided and plenty of undercover parking.

    Freycinet Coastal Retreat is located in a quiet beach community, where Freycinet National Park, wineries, fishing, kayaking and golf are all at your doorstep.

Amazing Place

Immaculately clean house in a stunning location with amazing views. Nicely located 6km out of the busy hub of Coles Bay providing peace and tranquility. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Comfortable and relaxing lounge area.

Stunning!

Beautiful property with stunning views. We used this as an unwind for two nights after some busy days in Hobart and surrounds. The beds were comfortable and the property was immaculate upon arrival. It was exactly what we needed. Such a pity we were unable to use the fireplace which would have added to the ambience, but we knew upon arrival that this was not an option until May.

Great contemporary house with wonderful sunset views

Minor issues - a few mosquitoes, a spider web missed by the cleaners, AC that struggled to match the afternoon sun heat - could not detract from a beautiful and comfortable home with spectacular views. Service of the agency was efficient and unobtrusive. Would have liked deck chairs or something like that for the deck to enjoy the views - the picnic table is unsuitable for anything other than casual meals.

Fabulous place on the water's edge

This place has it all. 3 great bedrooms, 2 with beach front floor to ceiling windows and 1 with a gorgeous ensuite. The space is clean, light and airy. There was plenty of tea and coffee pods as well as ground coffee for a plunger. Provisions were generous. There is a spacious carport and a picnic style table on the decking overlooking the bay. This is a very comfortable place. We did find that the house heated up very quickly in the sun on a cloudy-ish day. I think it would be very hot in summer, although the air conditioning is very effective. It is about 4 kms away from the Coles Bay cafes, tavern and general store but you'll need a car to get here anyway so really it's quite close. This was a very quiet, relaxing spot and we very much enjoyed staying here.

Beautiful holiday house

Stayed here for two nights once the covid-19 restrictions were lifted in Tasmania. It is such a beautiful house with beautiful water views. Enjoyed the wood fire, floor heating, and netflix.. felt very cosy and warm in winter! it is also very spacious. We definitely want to return :)

Stunning modern property on the water.

An amazing property right on the water. Modern appliances and breathtaking views. Loads of space for everyone. Will definitely be going back. There was an issue with the main TV but there was quick and efficient communication and no issues at all.

The property is beautifully presented. The location can not be any better. The first day after we arrived, we enjoyed lovely sunset. The next Morning while we having breakfast on the deck. We saw a lot of whales swimming pass by.
