Security deposit: $50 deposit was charged in cash not from my credit card referring policy. What if I didn’t have cash? They placed an ATM machine so guests could withdraw money for a $10 fee earning to the motel - smart way to earn more money. Or maybe save the bank cost or not being highly knowledgeable to charged...

"Love the location! The hotel is central to the many neighborhoods in the city. It’s about a 15 min walk to the train station, about a 30 min walk to Inner Harbor. The staff were great and were able to accommodate us checking in early. If you don’t want to leave the hotel, there’s a bar, serve breakfast, and a speakeasy! Overall, a great experience at the hotel!"

Although staff was nice, we did not have a tv remote and when we asked we were given one that didn’t even work, did not even bother trying to get another one, light had fallen down the wall bathroom smelled like cigarettes, and the electricity on the entire right side of the room did not work, just overall an awful experience, not sure how this inn got a 7/10 rating more like a 3/10. "I'm not sure if the ac was working right or not but the hotel is close to the convention center and not horrible. There is a slightly rougher element at and around the hotel on weekends but that doesn't bother me but it may if you have young kids or not used to big cities. All in all I was satisfied with my stay. Free breakfast and friendly staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. "

"Stay there at your own risk. There is no parking, no bath towels, it smells like Newports, and everyone from Baltimore hangs on the corner approaching you asking for a dollar. I was so disappointed because I have stayed at La Quinta in other locations. This one looks nothing like the ad that is posted on Expedia. "

"This inn is a 10 out of 10. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They even upgraded our room to a suite which was incredibly clean and gorgeous. The breakfast is made to order with fresh fruit omelets pancakes. Whatever you think, they'll give you a list and you check off what you want the night before and they'll have it ready for you in the morning and we had it delivered to our room. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Excellent place"

The vent in bathroom and heater/AC vent both full of lint, as if not cleaned in months. roaches hiding in bathroom. Signs everywhere for 250$ smokers cleaning fee and the room already reeks of cigarette smoke from other rooms. The continental breakfast was very lame, just bread for toast and cereal. coffee and juice. Also windows very outdated, children could easily fall out."
