"This was on of the nicest places my wife and I have stayed. The cabin was very clean, and the view of the lake was amazing. My wife loved the sunsets and listening to the frogs at night. I had some good success fishing off the dock. Great getaway for us, and I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a quiet weekend of relaxation. for a quei"

"We were so excited to go here! *great communication prior to our date of arrival- He was responsive, and kind. We arrived and were a little surprised by exactly how rustic it was (brush covered paths, webs everywhere, tons of dead bugs in windows. :-) * futon was jammed tightly stuck when we attempted to make it into a bed. - we were assured it was not broken needed us to remove mattress, crawl behind it & jimmy it. "it was a really nice place, it was really clean and spacious, and they had a lot provided which was nice, overall there was good communication but there were some things I feel like Should have been communicated a lot sooner, there was also alot of seaweed by the dock so we couldn’t really go swimming, but overall I had a really great time!!"

"We stayed here for a long weekend with our 3-year-old and had a really nice time! Property was clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and quiet. We spent a lot of time just hanging out looking at the lake, canoeing, and attempting to fish off the dock. We really liked all the birds and wildlife to see right there on the property. Kitchen had all the basic gear you'd expect, although you'll want to bring your own spices, oils, etc. "

"An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there.
