"To no fault of the property owner, the cleaners had not cleaned or changed the sheets before our arrival. We had to call Evolve Travel, whi had to track down the owner. The owner was unable to get a hold of the cleaners, but was gracious enough to give us the code to the shed where clean sheets were kept. The floors were filthy!!! The top of the toilet tank was off because you had to jiggle the parts for it to flush correctly. The owner had obviosly bought all new sheets, towels,kitchen utensils...

"This house had everything we needed for a friends weekend. The property itself is large so we didn't feel the neighbors right next to us with a bonfire pit plus a great front porch and back deck. Beds were comfortable and kitchen, dining and living room area was spacious for gathering. Would definitely book again."

"Perfect for a girls weekend. There were 8 of us that came together from all over Michigan, Canada and Ohio to spend a weekend celebrating and floating down the Ausable. Having all the rooms upstairs was like being at camp with a huge living room for us all to come together. It was perfect. The wrap around porch and grill were heavily utilized. I would 100% recommend this property for family and friend gatherings. "

"Great property and close to Tawas for shopping and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets. Loved having a washer and dryer. We were a little disappointed that the Sand Lake access wasn’t closer but it all worked out. We drove to Lake Huron and swam in the Great Lake. "

"My roommate and I came for a weekend of trail riding. This place was perfect! Couldn’t ask for a better location for the trails and local eating/drinking establishments. The place is cozy and clean. Beds were very comfortable! The garage and backyard were such a bonus for hanging out. We will definitely recommend to friends and be back! Nicole was especially nice and responsive to questions. "Meals out on the deck, hot dogs cooked over a fire, several nice hiking trails nearby. Tricky to find, but clean, secluded, relaxing and comfy bed. Has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer & dryer. Didn’t use all those myself, but someone else may who reads this review!"

"I loved everything about it . It was exactly as described, and it was perfect. From location to amenities, we felt so at home and we were sad to have to leave. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking in this area."

"We had a fantastic time, with so much to do outdoors, our 5 boys had no problem falling asleep completely exhausted at the end of the day. It’s a mix between “Glamping” and “camping” the cabin was super cute. Has a full fridge and microwave, with an outdoor grill. There’s no toilets or running water in the cabin, but the main lodge has showers and toilets and a full kitchen to use, and the cabin is like 50 feet from it. We had a blast and the kids have asked to come back here every year from now...

"We came up for a family reunion and found this property that may accommodate a wheelchair. Had a ramp on the front. Everything was great. Location was perfect for where we were headed. Plenty of space for our family of 4 and the grandparents. Easy check in and check out. Host was very quick with responses. Would stay again. "
