"The Yearling will always have a very special place in my heart. It is old Florida charm at its finest. The cabins are not 5-star accommodations, but rather exactly what you would expect to find located on Cross Creek between Lake Orange and Lake Lochloosa. They are clean, comfortable and offer an excellent view of the creek. The neighborhood peacocks call to each other while birds and other wildlife occasionally travel by. My husband and I have stayed three times so far and would love to go back...

"The cabin was very nice, and the location was excellent. The lake views were lovely, and everything was as expected! We anticipated not leaving the cabin for the 4 days, and that held true, except for the one day I went for a bike ride to Ft. McCoy and back. We brought meals and supplies, and all of the usual kitchen things were available for use. Other than the bike ride, it was a great opportunity to sit on the deck, watch the lake, hang in the jacuzzi, and sail the r/c sailboat I brought...

"The place was very nice and clean. It had all the supplies that we would need for our stay. The beds were wonderful. I had no issues falling asleep. The property was also very quiet. I only have one negative and it is not about the townhouse. The pool was clean and felt great I was just disappointed that there were not any chairs so you could lay out. I don't know if that was mentioned in the information or not. We had to go and buy items to lay on."

"Our new “home away from home” on Nantucket! Photos on the listing do not do it justice; the house is perfectly clean, charmingly beautiful, and perfectly maintained. Could not be more perfect - hosts Michael and Claire are lovely and welcoming and have thought of everything you could need in a vacation rental (even stocked us up with firewood to use the fire pit!) and they live in a separate house nearby so they were accessible for any help we needed (recommended beaches based on the wind...

"Everything was as depicted in ad. Diane was an excellent host. Great communication and ease of check-in were appreciated. Everything about the cabin made for an enjoyable and relaxing weekend in the woods. Close to numerous parks, and lakes. The cabin was well equipped with everything to make the stay easy. Diane was super responsive to requests, and respectful of our privacy. The dog enjoyed the fenced in yard, and freedom to run. We will be back."

"We have stayed with them before and loved it so much that we wanted to come back again. It was even better than we remembered and we can't wait to come back a third time. Very clean and love the fenced yard. Our dog Sammy had a good time chasing lizards! Ate breakfast out in the screened in porch every morning and it was so fun to listen to all the different types of birds and all the different woodpeckers too. Thanks for a relaxing time!"

"We enjoyed our visit to Gainesville and staying at this cute VRBO. We were missing some necessities, and the admin was very responsive to take care of them. The place was clean, comfortable, and we appreciated the kitchen being well-stocked. We did read a review before saying to bring an ext. cord for the bedroom bc the outlets weren’t close to the nightstands, and we’re glad we did that. "My husband and I came for a weekend to see our sons who are students at UF. We needed a dog friendly place and this is it—the back is fenced so we could let them out while we were back there—so easy. The house was well appointed—nice tile, linens, and fixtures, better than I expected. It is also close to downtown restaurants and pretty close to UF too. “Tiny” home but actually plenty of room. "My husband and I were looking for a place to stay near UF for my orientation weekend. I stumbled upon this “jungle house” and the mini golf is what immediately caught my eye! Marlon made the check-in and check out process seamless, providing all the steps and information needed to enjoy our stay! The house is adorably decorated, was dog friendly for our black lab, and the mini golf in the backyard was awesome and such a cool setup! Thanks again for hosting us, we will definitely be back!"

"This was the perfect house for our weekend in Ocala for our granddaughter’s high school graduation. The house has everything you need and was very clean. There were very thoughtful extra’s in the kitchen and in the pool area. Adults in there 70’s & 40’s plus teenagers all had a great time."

"We stayed in the cottage while attending a UF graduation. It was a pleasure staying away from the congestion of G'ville. Instead, we enjoyed a beautiful drive via 441 right into town, about 15 minutes away. The mattresses were pretty soft - a 2 night max for me, thus the 4 stars. But the cottage was comfortable, we loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying the breeze & the scent of jasmine. The location didn't lend itself to taking walks, but there are nearby options for that."
