"We stayed 1 nite in room 7 lovely room and amazing shower room which is an old vault only downside is it does flood the whole area but was worth it bed was comfortable it doesn’t have phone network so be prepared to use there free WiFi also doesn’t have normal tv channels you have to sign into Netflix luckily we have Netflix so was easy to do wat really impressed us was def the shower area in room 7 it was awesome we will def return to room 7 if in Swindon :)"

Das Hotel und Pub sind urig aber sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die wahrscheinlich den Charme ausmacht. Das Frühstück war seht lecker 😋 von richtig englisches Frühstück bis einfaches Toast mit Marmelade. Die Bar im Pub ist sehenswert, wir hatten das Glück einen Abend mit Live-Musik zu verbringen. "Lovely surprise! Our room was large, comfortable, and the decor was beautiful -- the photos do not do it justice. The location is perfect, right at the bottom of high street next to several historic sites and within easy walking distance of everything one would want to see in Winchester. The Japanese restaurant is fantastic. Make reservations as soon as you check in as it is not to be missed."
