"I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. "We had an amazing stay while visiting our daughter at JMU. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Our host Lisa was very responsive and an absolute pleasure. Lisa's horse farm was tucked away in the back of their property. It was quiet, cozy and the horses were so friendly. We walked to the river, it was beautiful! We stargazed and took pics of galaxies that are not viewable from Florida. Overall it was above 5 stars! We will be back. Thank you Lisa!!!!"

"My siblings and I stayed for a week at this lovely house. We swam, kayaked, fished, and relaxed on the huge decks. On our walks we saw deer, turkey, egrets and more. The house sits on a small lake with clear, deep water, perfect for swimming. We cooked meals in the spacious kitchen and shopped in Waynesboro, which is only about 20 minutes away. Every night we watched incredible sunsets from the deck.If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot, this is the place!"

"The loft apartment was super cool, and we loved all the extra effort the host made to make it a fun place to visit. Everything inside worked perfectly, including the sauna and the record player. We visited from Liverpool, England, and it was so fun to put on the Beatles on vinyl! "As my decades-ago college roommate and I met up to spend time together at this beautiful property, the setting was perfect. The setting is gorgeous, with a gentle stream, running alongside it, plenty of birds up in the nearby woods, and nice spaces outside to sit and enjoy nature. We even sat outside one evening on the porch to watch an incoming thunderstorm, and it was magical.The amenities in the home reflected deep and thoughtful consideration of what guests might need. "This is a wonderful property that is “out of town,” but still convenient to Crozet and Waynesboro. The amenities were great. Very clean. We spent a lot of time on the back porch and around the fire pit. Communication was easy and quick. All of that combined to make for a relaxing time where we could focus on our time together. "

"The house has lots of space—really good sized rooms—and plenty of towels, linens, outdoor furniture and equipment, etc. to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains and incredible stars on a clear night. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from JMU and it was close enough to be convenient."
