"This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. It rained one of the days we’re there but that was fine because there was so much room and things provided in the house that we didn’t even notice! Management was excellent"

"Very clean and excellent communication. Loved the creek and wanted to sit on the porch to enjoy it but at this time of year there are a lot of bugs. Recommend screening the porch in so it can be enjoyed without the bugs. The kitchen is well stocked but would have loved to have a grill. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this unique cabin. The cabin was so clean and inviting! We enjoyed the vinyl records, the DVD collection, and classic video game system and the coffee and hot cocoa station! It was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. We would definitely recommend this property!"

"This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the house but first time w my family. They all had a blast. Plenty of things to entertain teenagers. Highly recommend. Only minor issue with our trip was the hot tub was not working properly but the owner was quick to respond to my inquiry and getting it serviced "

"Had a great stay! Property is right next to the Blue Ridge Tunnel (which is an easy trail) and also conveniently located close to many breweries and vineyards. The hosts have done/do an excellent job labeling everything and communicating all necessary information. Would definitely stay here again! "

"This place is beautiful if you enjoy nature and animals. There are horses all over the place and the home is very cute and clean. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a night off the grid with all the comforts of home"

"My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend to explore the Staunton area and it worked out nicely. The owners were always very on top of communication, kind, and accommodating. Everything in the home was decorated well, and functioned well for 2 people who like to save a bit and do breakfast in the house and have some leftovers around after eating out. The location was close to downtown and we walked practically everywhere in the downtown area from the house. It does sit atop a pretty steep...

"The Wash House is a small cottage on the grounds of a working farm. It is truly charming and immaculately clean. My daughter and I stayed during a family emergency and the property was exactly what we needed; clean, quiet, enough space to have some privacy but ample space to sit together and talk. "We wanted scenic views, clean air, and a bit of isolation. Seldom Seen definitely delivered. We truly enjoyed every moment while at this lovely location. Definitely plan to return and highly recommend to those who need some serenity. It was perfect for us as a couples getaway, but has plenty of space for larger groups. "

"The house has lots of space—really good sized rooms—and plenty of towels, linens, outdoor furniture and equipment, etc. to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains and incredible stars on a clear night. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from JMU and it was close enough to be convenient."

"Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! "

"Oak Tree Cottage provided a beautiful place for our group of older friends to enjoy time together. Sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. We loved being outside on the deck or by the pool and also enjoyed the dining/gathering space across the back of the house overlooking the woods. The hosts were super nice and helpful. A wonderful stay! "
