"We went by car. The traditional Japanese house had been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated, making it both charming and easy to use. The kitchen and shower room were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We had a barbecue in the garden, and everything was provided for us except the ingredients—it was perfect. The ocean was just a short walk away, and at night we enjoyed the sounds of summer insects and a sky full of stars. We would love to stay here again."

"A lovely hotel with very nice staff. The hotel is on the Main Street close to shops and restaurants; the Bikan Historical Quarter is an easy walk. Rooms were spacious with lots of room for 3 people. Definitely come back to Kurashiki and stay at the Royal Park. "
