"Pleasantly surprised! While not on par with premium hotels, it makes up the gap in affordability...a real bargain compared to properties like Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, etc. Parking is free and close to rooms. Their breakfast buffet featuring an omelet bar with a very accomodating chef was outstanding...better than many pricey alternatives like Marriott or Hilton. Overall, you can't go wrong staying here. "

"We booked a pet-friendly room through Expedia, driving from NYC. When we arrived to check in at 930 (as noted in the special request section) the receptionist told us she didn’t have a room for us that could accommodate a dog. “Not all of our r rooms are pet friendly, we don’t have anything for you”. So after a 13-hr drive we were turned away, DESPITE booking it through Expedia, and the cherry on the cake was that she was downright nasty about it, gleeful even, that she could say no. "We arrived and found the property under renovations. Painting the exterior and room upgrades. We were not notified of renovations prior to stay. It was a one night stay so we didn’t feel the need to change hotels but it still felt awkward. "

We stayed 3 nights only got housekeeping 1 day

Won’t book another spark hotel again.

"The rooms are new and very nice. You can hear everything that happens in the hall. As nice as the hotel is with great location the food has to get a big thumbs down. Breakfast is not supposed to end until 9. We went down at 8:30 and there was not much left. Staff was trying to clean up and take things away. They shut down the waffle station at 10 til 9. I understand the time it ends but to end it early with no muffins out no eggs or potatoes is sad with 30 minutes remaining "
