"The carpet in our room had not been vacuumed, there were food crumbs on the floor. We wanted to check in 15 minutes early and were charged 15 pounds. I felt that was a little high of a charge for 15 minutes. "

"We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. "Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended."

"I wish I had stayed here longer, the staff, the rooms, the little garden area for my dog to enjoy, was just wonderful. It was a beautiful stay, wonderful breakfast and bar area where me and the dog just chilled with a nice glass of wine (me not the dog!) was delightful. 10/10 would recommend. The village of Stockbridge as well, its fantastic, such lovely places to eat/drink nearby too."

"I had a very large quiet room at the side of the building on the first floor. Number 9. The bed was wonderful , comfortable with good pillows. The building itself is an historical gem. The furnishings and renovated bathroom are top notch. Breakfast was included, There could be a bit more choice but adequate. Location for the Cathedral opposite couldn’t be more perfect.
