"No microwave, cold pool, elevators broke people got trapped we climbed so many stairs. A homeless man lived in the alley you had walk through to travel. The ceilings were just concrete with weird chalk on them the Window covering gets stuck when you use it we had to put it on track to use it. When you call on the room phone for service you talk to an automated machine for awhile, "

"Property is well located in the River North area, with many restaurants and bars.
I stayed in one of the queen rooms, which was very clean but small, with a queen size bed, and two small nightstands. There was a metal rack to hang clothes. Perhaps because of the unusual room configurations in converting a historic building, the bath area in my room was spacious compared to the room size.
The air conditioning in my room did not work, and there were no other rooms available. The windows open a...

"This building is older and does not have any updates or renovations. The rooms are nice and clean, but our room did not have central a/c. Windows can open, and they will provide a fan upon request. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. "

"Room was perfect for a solo traveler. I felt safe because there was a door man and being in busy area made me feel safe too. They did forget to give me a quilt, so I only had a sheet and blanket so I got a little cold. But that was ok because I was able to turn the heater on. Parking was a little hard, but it’s Chicago so it’s not surprising "

"Room was nice and clean but TINY. Breakfast was decent and the staff did a great job keeping things clean and stocked. Parking was a nightmare with incorrect billing, having to pay twice and then get reimbursed. TV's didn't work in either room but maintenance was very good about fixing them. So a good basic room but multiple inconveniences. "

"I would not reserve a room if you enjoy showering. The water was either ice cold or scolding hot. I could not let the water touch my body. I had to get a towel wet, allow it to cool and then clean my body. I notified the front desk and they said it is a known problem. Also, there was a lot of obvious dust in the ceiling and we found a spider on our curtains. For a positive, the bed was comfortable and the location of the hotel was perfect to walk to Michigan Ave."
