Great communication from host. Had an issue upon check-in and he was able to get the repair completed asap. One thing to be aware of is that all the bedrooms are upstairs so if you/your guests have trouble with stairs, this property probably isn't the best fit. But otherwise, adorable home, comfy beds, and private 6 ft fence perfect for pups.

We were visiting the area for a family wedding and the location of the house was perfect - about 10 minutes from the venue. The house was clean and the host was very responsive when we lost power in part of the house. The bedrooms seemed to be cooled by different zones so one bedroom was extremely cold while the others ranged from moderate to too warm although we set the thermostat at 72. That being said, the house served our purposes and care had clearly been taken to make it comfortable for guests.

Great Place to Stay

Overall, this was a great place to stay. There were a few minor issues that were resolved very timely by Blesson. One example would be not having garbage bags. Blesson brough some by ASAP as soon as I messaged him. I would not recommend for toddlers just due to the different floor levels and layout of steps. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and interaction with Blesson. Thank you!

Thanks Blesson! Property as advertised, bathrooms are super modern and my teen daughters are already asking me to add some of what they had at our home. Blesson is very accessible, and also provided a backup contact.

Enjoyed my stay

The place was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. I wss able to ebjoy my daughter's graduation and have a nice dinner. Although there was a few minor hiccups overall it was a great stay.

Perfect Stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! This property is close the highway and many stores (Walmart, Target, Burlington, etc.). The house was spacious and accommodated our family well.

Great host!

Blesson was such a great host. I recently stayed at his place with my family. He even provided a crib and pack and play for the young ones. The place fit all of us nicely. The downstairs has a large living room and common space. The place has an eclectic design. Most importantly the beds were comfortable and the place was quiet and we got a really good night sleep. Thanks for hosting and for the great service.

Graduation getaway

We traveled from Kentucky to North Chicago. This was the first time I rented a house when traveling. We rented this home away from home for our sons liberty weekend after he graduated from Great Lakes Naval boot camp. The house gave us the perfect opportunity to spend time together. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and it is located in an area where all things are quickly accessible. Big box stores are just a mile or so down Golf road, there are plenty of places to eat, and it is right near the highway. It provides a virtually a straight shot to Great Lakes Navy base. The beds are comfy, the host provides plenty of towels, dishes, and everything you need to feel right at home no matter how far away you've traveled. The house is rather techy and not what we are use to, but it wasn't too hard to figure things out. The property owner is very responsive when you have questions as well. I would rent this property again if we have to return to the Chicago area.
