  • Relax in this chic and artfully designed condo. This sun-kissed 1-bedroom apartment in Irving Park is located in the city, but away from the hustle and bustle in a tree-lined quiet green neighborhood

    You can go just about anywhere in the city in 20 - 30 min as we are 2 minutes to the 24/7 EL blue line stop (train) and the I90/94 interstate. Our apartment is perfectly situated halfway between downtown Chicago & O’Hare airport. We are in a crime-free part of Chicago & have FREE PARKING. Our place is close to the interstate and the local metro stop (the EL blue line), so visitors from smaller cities may find it a bit noisy.

    You have exclusive access to this unit. Bedding, towels, and toiletries are all provided during your stay.

    There is a back patio with a gas grill, fire pit, and lawn chairs where you can entertain or relax at will. Please note that this space is used by full-time tenants of the building as well so please clean up after yourself and leave the space tidy

I have stayed here twice before, so I must like it, right? Very convenient location and the host is quite responsive. There have been snafus with Vrbo itself when I tried to extend my stay. But that administrative hassle is not enough to keep me away. Thanks, Jason!

I have stayed with Jason before and hope to do so again. This place is super-convenient, not necessarily deluxe, but perfect for my needs. Jason has always been responsive to any requests. Vrbo itself was a little wonky this last trip because some kind of in-house rule made it very difficult to extend my stay. Not a deal-killer. I highly recommend this spot for people who plan to get out and about in Chicago.

Pros: Perfect location, quiet safe neighborhood, free parking, walking distance to blue line, fully stocked kitchen, perfect size for 2 people, neighbors were also quiet, lots of rabbits to watch at night in the yards. Cons: Late check in makes finding parking difficult, stairs are slick in rain in some places, back door was unlocked when we arrived, electric love seat was unplugged and left reclined, air conditioner was not turned on prior to our arrival during the heat wave on July 2nd so apartment was very hot, only 2 towels for a 4 day stay, need blackout curtains or shade in the bedroom window.Tips for staying: Bring your own towels, shampoo, and soap. Bring extra pillows. Don’t stay during the hottest part of the year. Park early and stay parked, use public transit for moving around. Would absolutely stay here again!

It is clean and very basic. Up a flight of rickety outdoor stairs. No blackout blinds or curtains so very bright at night and next to highway and train so very noisy. But if you don't care about any of these things its a good value for the money.

I just needed a home base and place to sleep, so I didn’t use the kitchen or any of the other amenities. It was very clean and’s w best and the bed was comfortable. The noise of the L might bother some but I’d just gotten off a 52 hr train ride. It sounded like I was still on the train so no bother. I was disturbed by the noise of the people overhead when I was desperately trying to sleep before my early departure, but I doubt my hosts have any control over that.

Nice place in a fun part of town. Being able to walk to the L was a godsend, we took it everywhere. This is a good space for a couple. Maybe bring an eye mask if you need to sleep in a very dark room, the curtains don't do a whole lot.
