"A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. "Great stay at this property. The room was large and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. A very modern bathroom although the extractor fan could have been more powerful to dry the bathroom. We couldn’t work out the air conditioning but it wasn’t too warm in the room. It was quiet at night and the curtains made the room dark so easy to sleep.
