"We were fortunate enough to have a lovely October weekend and enjoyed our stay with yard games and relaxing by the water. The property was well kept and the location was great. With the warm fall there were a lot of Asian beetles that got in at the entry points and we suggested to the owns to add screen doors to help deter so many getting in in the future. We also enjoyed visiting the brewery and other local bars downtown. "

"This was the second year renting this property. Love coming back to Chetek. Property has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Host is easy to contact if needed. Prompt communication. The new dock is great for the pontoon boat. Will be back. "

"The property was just as listed. Nola and Cal were excellent hosts and even brought me flashlights and dessert when the power went out!!! Chetek is a wonderful community with plenty of great restaurants and friendly people. I look forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a cabin that is rustic and in a great location."

"Wanted to get away from the big city for a few days and this was the absolute perfect place. The Townsfolk are very friendly and the property is right on the water. The view could not be more perfect. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for some peace."

"The vacation home was spacious and had great views of the lake. We had fun playing ping pong and foosball along with other games. We got to see a bear and her cubs in the field down the road, and we also met the neighbors who were very friendly. A few things to note were the evidence of pest control and some evidence of the pests in the lower wet bar area. The soap for the dishwasher was gone so we had to pick some up ourselves. Some missing drapes in the lower level were noted to the host, but...
