"This is a beautiful home with lovely views of the lake. We booked the house so we could attend our daughter’s graduation from Kenyon and found it was just what we needed to regroup between events. It is only about 10 minutes from campus and has a fully equipped open concept kitchen so we were able to have some of our meals away from the overbooked restaurants and dining hall meals. "Laura and Darrell are amazing hosts! Their cabin is beautiful. They have included so many special touches and amenities in their cabin that you will NEVER find anywhere else. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they had a neon birthday sign. A yummy birthday cake, a birthday card, bottle of wine and meat and cheese platter. "Excellent property for groups. We were 5 adults, 3 kids. Plenty of space inside and out. "

"Pros- The home sits itself on a beautiful property from the fire pit to the Jacuzzi to the beautiful waterfall bathrooms. the comfortable bed and the climate control rooms kept the comfort level to your desire.Cons- it would have been nice to have a dishwasher. A new pellet grill and icemaker were amenities that could have easily been bought to make your guests stay that much more comfortable. Overall- great spot to relax "

"Jim and Laurie were wonderful and the amount of love and care they take to ensure your stay is perfect was evident. The rooms were spacious and serene, the whirpool tub was a plus for relaxing, and everything you could need is available. The breakfast was wonderful and the animals added to the entire experience. Elvis was a bit of a show off, Roodie loved chin rubs, and Humphrey was an absolute mush! Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon!"

"This property was nicer than excepted. Warm inviting home nice little extras. House was clean and open space. Only issue is outside trash did not have a lid animals got in trash. Otherwise great stay. "

"The house has an interesting history, made of metal and specifically for veterans. It was built in the early 50s and comes complete with some of the era’s decor. "

"This large cabin has plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and be comfortable! The living room is so cozy and the kitchen is well appointed. Everyone in our group enjoyed the pond, from fishing, to canoeing and paddle boating. The basement is a nice spot to hang out. It’s a close drive to Mohican State Park and downtown Loudenville. We had a great time!"
