"Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed rooms with comfy beds and super quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. "Everything was perfect,all but 2 small points....The bed was slightly uncomfortable,due to being too soft/warn....and maybe being a little bit picky, But B&b was just a little too close to main road .... otherwise,a FANTASTIC place."

"Fantastic locals pub with lots of atmosphere, great food. Can't speak highly enough of the village of Ashover, and the surrounding area.
The rooms are a little small but its what you expect for a pub of that age.
