"The Boathouse is on the river and next to the Grosvenor Park with is very pretty and a nice area to walk through to get to the city centre. We watched a rowing club practise right from our table at dinner. The wait staff in the dining room were very friendly and accommodating. "The hotel was in a good location - it had car parking, but was also within walking distance of the city centre. The room was a good size, with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable, although the room was perhaps a little hot for my liking, with no obvious way to regulate the temperate apart from opening the window and putting up with traffic noise. In the bathroom, the water was lovely and hot and the shower nice and powerful. The breakfast was reasonable for us as vegetarians. "
