"Every thing was fine. The front desk not acting professional and the breakfast was terrible. We paid for breakfast for eight days but we only used it once because it was terrible. I wouldn’t not recommend having breakfast at this hotel for anyone. Hope you can improve in these areas."

"The first room we got on level 1 smelled like cigarette smoke and their solution was sending the housekeeper to spray it with air freshener. We asked to change rooms the next day as the smoke came through the air conditioning at night and we had to turn it off. They moved us 3 rooms down on the same level. Cigarette smoke also came through the vents so we had the air conditioning off while we stayed here. There is no seal under the patio door so we woke up to cockroaches in our room even though...

"We had a really enjoyable three night stay at the Grand Mercure. Everything was more than we could have wished for. We were given a room upgrade on arrival. The staff were all really friendly and spoke a decent level of English. And the breakfast was really good. We would happily stay here again if we return to Xi’an."
