"I wish I could give higher stars. The front desk, breakfast staff, cleaning staff and evening bar staff were extremely kind and thoughtful. Everyone that works there went up and beyond to help. Our car broke down and we stayed one more evening and it was a blessing . This place is worth staying and the hospitality is beyond what ever you would expect. "

"We drove a rental car - took some careful navigating to get to baggage drop off. Paid private parking was worth the money (only 2 euros worth public parking but so much closer). Did not have an elevator. North of center of 'old ville' in Reims, but very convenient to everythuing."

"We booked an ‘arty’ room, really comfy bed and nice & quiet. Secure overnight parking, ideal stop off point from France to UK. A little out of town but if it’s just a rest stop you need then it’s ideal. Really nice bar area, super dog friendly & nice food served in the restaurant (opens at 7pm and food isn’t available before that, although the lady behind the bar kindly heated us up a pizza as we were ravenous!) The service in the restaurant was slow, an hour’s wait between starters &...

"This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "
