"The appeared to be a little rough around the collar, not as professional as most places. However, the stay itself was good. The rooms are nice, as are the amenities such as sitting room with fireplace. The breakfast in the morning was quite terrible some items being overcooked others items being cold.
The wine and cheese from 5 to 6 was a very nice gesture, I enjoyed that. Also loved having the wonderful fireplace on the rainy night."

"Beach View is an older property, however the rooms and bathrooms have been updated with upscale fixtures and plush linens. The big plus is that the hotel is 1/2 block to the beach and only a short walk to Rehoboth Avenue (the main street that bisects the town and ends at the beach) and the boardwalk. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, even a couple next door to the hotel. The hotel lobby has a couple of nice seating areas, as well as tables for breakfast. A nice touch...

"I have stayed at the breakers for several years about twice a year. It's convenient to the beach for those early birds who like to watch the sunrise. It's close to the electric charger which I need for my car. It's not far from the main street and restaurants. At the same time, across the street is lake with geese and rabbits. "$25 parking fee! REALLY! We will look for another place next year when we travel through Bethany again.
Also we somehow were assigned a handicapped accessible room, which would have been perfect for wheelchair accessibility. The shower head was positioned on the side wall facing toward the room and the curtain. When operated water pushed the curtain out and water all over the floor. An awkward position for showering. We had to use several towels on the floor to prevent slipping."
