"The hotel was very handy being so close to the airport and having the shuttle for 3 pds to the airport made it very easy. The bar and food was rear and made dinner an easy option. Breakfast included was an added bonus before catching a morning flight. I would recommend for sure for those travelling and using Edinburgh airport. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"The room was modern and clean, however, the shower in the bathroom was a concern. Getting into the shower required stepping over a high tub which can be difficult for seniors. There is a glass partition which was not secure (hinged) and felt like it would swing out if you accidently leaned on it. Not the safest bathroom I have been in."

"Recommended! I stayed at the Moxy one night and was very pleased with my choice. It’s an easy walk (even with bags) from the airport terminal. My room was ready early so I was able to check in and get settled. The lobby has a wonderful book theme to the decor so I felt right at home.
My single-bed room was small but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler and immaculately clean. The bathroom was also small but not so much that it wasn’t workable. The floor of the shower was a little slippery,...

"On arrival, the receptionist immediately required photo ID, took a copy of it, and needed a £100 deposit against any damage I might cause. This approach is not welcoming and friendly, but rather officious and distrustful.
As a UK citizen using public transport, I did not have passport or driving licence with me. If I had not had a bus pass, I got the impression that I would have been given a room. Given that I had paid £180 for a one night stay, the deposit against damages seemed unnecessary....

"It was ok. Location was good for transportation on buses or taxis. The room we got was definitely not a “luxury” hotel room or spacious like advertised and did not look like photos. There was no lift, so they should tell people they have to do stairs. The towel warmer didn’t work and there was no plug in for the hairdryer in the bathroom or anywhere near a mirror. It had a bed and breakfast without the breakfast kind of feel, rather than a “boutique hotel,” so seems a little higher priced...
