"From the start we had some hiccups. There is no front desk, no one working on site. Check in was through text which wasn’t sent when called the number the bar offered us it was an AI person which roughly took us 30 mins standing in the sun outside the locked front door. Once in the room was cute, nice with a wet bar too. The bathroom door slammed shut which left it smelling musty and poopy inside. We went to dinner enjoyed a concert and walked back to the end of our night. Once ready for bed...

"The images used to advertise the property were criminally misleading. Upon arrival, the toilet didn’t work, we had to contact maintenance immediately, there were no clean towels in the room, just wash cloths, we literally had to wait for them to wash towels to bring us clean towels. Every piece of linen in the room was covered in stains, including the towels. The carpet was stained and dirty, the refrigerator barely worked, and the air conditioner fan assembly clearly needed to be replaced...

"Pros: Enjoyed a cocktail at the reception desk, a really nice experience after a long drive. Nice location, easy walking distance to town. Good Mexican food at Felix’s. Mattress, towels, linens, soap, shampoo etc all high-quality. Great light but satisfying breakfast: yogurt parfait, good coffee. Cons: Receptionist was efficient though not terribly friendly. Air conditioner was noisy enough that it affected our sleep. It’s something I mentioned to the owners via a text that they never responded...

"This was the worst best western I’ve ever stayed at. The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioning unit made so much noise it was difficult to sleep. The pool was heated to an uncomfortably warm temperature and the pool room was excessively humid. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and helped in resolving an issue that was not theirs to resolve, so I appreciate the staff for sure. This property is in dire need of upgrades, or to call it what it is and adjust the price...

"This a very good dog friendly property. There are grassy areas for dog walking. It is a safe area. The facilities are clean and functional. My only criticism is although nicely upgraded a few years ago, the bathrooms are starting to show wear and tear and need redoing. I visit Grand Junction 4 or 5 times a year for overnight stays and always stay here. Staff is friendly and helpful."
